Dr. Ganesh Prasad Mishra

Dr. Ganesh Prasad Mishra is a Gold Medalist Ācārya in Tark Veda Jyotiṣa from Banaras Hindu University, where he is currently a doctoral scholar researching the works of Ācārya Varāhamihira — one of the foundational figures of classical Indian astrology.

He serves as Assistant Professor in the Department of Jyotiṣa at Kumar Bhaskar Varma Sanskrit & Ancient Studies University in Nalbari, Assam, where he teaches and continues to expand the academic study of classical predictive astrology.

His approach is grounded in textual sources — particularly the Bṛhat Saṃhitā, Bṛhat Jātaka, and Phaladīpikā — combined with 12+ years of practical consultation experience. He brings rigour to questions of career direction, marriage compatibility, and life timing, drawing on the same Parāśarī and Varāhamihira traditions he teaches.
